Feel like you are at your wit’s end with your child’s fears? Feel like you are doing everything you can to possibly support them, but nothing is working and you need support? You are in the right place. Our SPACE group is a great option for any parent of the child with a fear-based disorder who is ready to address their own actions to better support their child.
What Is SPACE?
SPACE is a parent-based, evidence-based treatment for children with various forms of anxiety (general, social, separation), OCD, Panic, and Phobias. In our SPACE group parents can learn how their behaviors and reactions could be reinforcing their child's fears and how to begin to navigate them differently in a supportive and compassionate way. The two main components of the SPACE program, developed by Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center, is how to respond more supportively to their anxious child and how to reduce the accommodations, which feel natural, to their child’s symptoms. Join us for our 6-week series beginning April 11th!
